A Response to the Coronavirus Outbreak

Dear Homeowners,

We know there has been a great deal of concern throughout the community regarding the pandemic.  We at JFK Window and Door want to take a moment to let you know about the measures we are taking to protect ourselves, the homeowners we serve, and our community as we move forward.

We are complying with Governor DeWine’s Stay at Home Order, and will not be available to assist visitors to our showroom until May 1, 2020. However, we will remain available to you by phone and email during our normal business hours, and look forward to continuing to serve you through and following this crisis. We are also available with virtual showroom visits by appointment. Additionally, our office is closed on Saturdays with the exception of appointments scheduled ahead of time.

We will do our best to respond to all inquiries quickly and thoughtfully, being sure to offer our full attention to our homeowners.  For the time being, all installations will proceed as scheduled, weather-permitting.  Please be assured that if any changes will need to be made for your installation, we will contact you by phone as quickly as possible.  If any installs must be cancelled, they will be rescheduled as promptly as possible within the bounds of safety and good conscience.  As always, the homeowners we serve are our top concern.

First, we are keeping abreast of updates on the situation from the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization.  We are remaining flexible and ready to respond to new developments as they arise.  Any changes to our plans will be noted here, and we will promptly contact any homeowners who will be directly affected by any change to our plans.

Second, we are acting to reduce the possibility of communication of germs in our work areas, including our vehicles.  We are keeping hand sanitizer available in company vehicles for our employees who regularly visit clients and encouraging them to apply it per CDC directions before and after each time they enter a client’s home.  All our employees who are able to work remotely are doing so.  Our employees who cannot work from home are taking additional precautions, including washing their hands more frequently, being aware of what they touch, and sanitizing all areas that can be sanitized more regularly – especially phones and items used by multiple members of the team. We are making allowances for any employee who is not well to stay home and recover.
